These are presumed to all be Boreal Bluets Enallagma boreale from the Anchorage area in Alaska in July 2007:

This male looks typical of the ones illustrated from further south:



- but the following three males (two with females) share a number of features based upon there being more black pigment, i.e. the pair of large black patches dorsolaterally on S8, the larger black patch at the base of S2 plus ventrolateral blackish patches, the greater extent of black distally on S3 - S6.
