After a number of tries over the past two years around Sheldon Lake in Eastern Harris County, I finally found Duckweed Firetails Telebasis byersi on June 21, 2006 - a new site/county and only the second known location within Texas (a specimen was obtained):
moments after the following photo was taken, the female was captured and eaten by a male Eastern Pondhawk:
