This male was at Paradise Pond, Port Aransas, Neuces County, Texas in June 2005:
On September 26, 2003 I heard a rustling in the grass outside my apartment. Looking down I saw this pair of junius "stuck" because the male had grabbed the female with a strong blade of grass in-between his appendages and her head. I pinched-off the grass to obtain this photo; after about a minute, the male finally released her and they both flew away:
