This male Coppery Dancer Argia cuprea was photographed at Lost Maples State Natural Area, Bandera County, Texas on September 08, 2004:

In profile it looks attractive enough...



... but with a slightly different angle, the copper thorax starts to glow a little...



... and from the front, with the sun just right, you get to see the full effect!
