Amelia's Threadtails Neonura amelia:

Update July 03, 2006: I've added some pics from McAllen in August 2005, at the bottom.

On June 05 2005 I was lucky enough to find a number of significant records at the fabulous Halff Brothers Ranch west of Pearsall in Frio County, Texas (50 miles south of San Antonio), where the Frio River winds through thousands of acres of pristine gallery forest.  These finds included both species of Neonura - here's the lone N. amelia I saw among numerous N. aaroni:

These Amelia's Threadtails Neonura amelia were egg-laying on the Rio Grande at Anzalduas Park, Hidalgo County, Texas on Aug 24, 2004:
