This male lacks the black band between the two blue bands on S8 and S9 and has blue laterally on S10; it was found on a shaded edge of the Entrance Pond at Santa Ana in June 2005 - well away from any flowing water... :




This male is similar to the one above in that it lacks the black band between the two blue bands on S8 and S9 and has blue laterally on S10; it was found on a shaded edge of the Entrance Pond at Santa Ana in August 2010 - the same body of water as the individual above... :
