Here are three male Claret Pondhawks Erythemis mithroides/"taxon novum" found at the entrance pond at Santa Ana NWR on June 10, 2009. These constitute the fifth record of this taxon for the United States - which hopefuly will be formally described soon:

This is the first individual, found on June 09; once we managed to get close to it, it was very confiding:
