These somewhat atypical immature male Black Setwings Dythemis nigrescens were at Bentsen State Park WBC, Hidalgo county, Texas in mid-June 2008:

1) Note the thoracic pattern: the anterior dark pattern includes a third pale spot at the upper/rear, creating a small "Y"; also there is a pronounced rearwards dark fork on the posterior black thoracic line, creating a "Y":
