This female Blue-spotted Comet Darner Anax concolor was found on the Resaca Vieja Trail, Bentsen State Park WBC, Hidaglo county, Texas on October 10, 2008. This is the sixth sighting for Hidalgo county and the U.S., and the third documented by photos/specimen; it was collected under permit as the second specimen (first female) for the U.S.
