This Arch-tipped Glider Tauriphila argo was one of at least four males seen patrolling the edge of the giant cane along the boat ramp resaca at Bentsen-Rio Grande State Park/WBC on June 15, 2008 (first found there by Fabrice de Lacour and Ed Lam on June 11) in Hidalgo county, Texas; on June 12 Fabrice and Ed reported seeing 20+ individuals at the resaca, where they were flying alongside a handful of male Mexican Scarlet-tail (click here to see photos of one):
