I found these Rambur's Forktails Ischnura ramburi at Mitchell Lake Audubon Center, Bexar county, in the Fall of 2005; they caught my eye as they flew along, attached like this - i,e, with only the connection at the male's S2. I flushed them twice before being able to get this image, and the whole time, they remained in this "reverse-tandem" grasp:
