More Burgundy Bluets enallagma dubium from Double Lake Recreation Area, Sam Houston National Forest, San Jacinto County, Texas in early May 2007:


On the morning of June 19, 2006 I was exploring the margins of Double Lake Recreation Area, Sam Houston National Forest, San Jacinto County, Texas, where I came upon a number of emerging teneral damselflies. I have identifed these ones as Burgundy Bluets enallagma dubium:

A second female that does not have fully-developed black laterally on the front of the thorax...:
