Yucatan and Cozumel, Mexico November 2013

From November 16 - 24, 2013, Sheridan Coffey, Dan Peak and I visited the Yucatan Peninsula of Mexico, birding at Cozumel, Felipe Carillo Puerto, Calakmul, Chichen Itza, Rio Lagartos, and Coba.

This Ruddy Woodcreeper Dendrocincla homochroa was attending an antswarm (along with another Ruddy Woodcreeper, a Tawny-winged Woodcreeper, two Northern Barred Woodcreepers, an Ivory-billed Woodcreeper, and an Olivaceous Woodcreeper) on the last 40kms of the entrance road to Calakmul (southeastern Campeche), after the second gate:
