Pre-Dawn on the first morning, we all walk the short distance to the eastern overlook to watch the Sun rise:

This lookout is about half-a-mile north of the cabins, but up a very steep and rocky trail (that when covered in leaves was rather treacherous - I fell three times!) - this is looking east towards the coast:
This is the view to the west, with vast, unbroken forest stretching to the horizon:
The view to the south has the Station's "helicopter pad" in the foreground, and Gomez Farias just visible in the distance to the left (below added gray line):
