We saw at least a dozen Indigo Flowerpiercers Diglossa indigotica during our day-and-a-half birding along the incredible San Jose - El Palmar road near El Cairo - but they were frustratingly hard to photograph as they almost never stopped moving. Here are average photos of four individuals:
