One evening as I drove south of Deadhorse on the Dalton Highway I came upon a loose gathering of Short-eared Owls close to the road. I stopped to take a few photos, and they seemed to find my truck (and then my squeaking) irrisistable, and I ended up with 15 - 18 owls floating around the truck - some seeming to want to almost fly in through the open window:
