On a rainy April 7th, 2002 in Tarrant County, Texas there were large numbers of swallows of six species resting on trees at Lake Benbrook. Among the c.25+ N. Rough-winged Swallows present in this aggregation was this one individual that was a bit larger and obviously darker above, and with more dark marks on the flanks (just visible in this photo, with a normal-looking NRSW on the right):
