This apparent blue-morph adult Ross's Goose was photographed at Cottonwood Meadows near Rosenberg, Fort Bend county, Texas in december 2008- but is it good enough to call a pure Ross's? Note that this wildfowl congregation included more than 100 Ross's Geese, 500+ Snow Geese and 50+ Whitefronts (including a Whitefront-x-Snow hybrid):
