This juvenile Magnificent Hummingbird Eugenes fulgens spent the day near Elmendorf, Wilson County (just; within a mile of Bexar County) southeast of San Antonio, Texas on October 24 2004; this is only the second documented record in Texas east of its expected range in the Chisos, Davis and Guadalupe Mountains of far west Texas:
