This Little Gull (Larus minutus) was found at Benbrook Lake, Tarrant County, Texas on November 14, 1999 (photos taken November 15). Note that it is still in full juvenile plumage, as evidenced by the black lower saddle and upper shawl - which extends onto the sides of the breast in a manner reminiscent of basic/juv Black Tern:
