This Hutton's Vireo Vireo huttoni
was a nice surprise while leading a group at Government Canyon State Natural Area, Bexar county, (San Antonio), Texas on April 05, 2008; this species is considered a very rare visitor to (or perhaps resident on) the Edwards Plateau, with few records - but in recent years this location has proved to be one of the more reliable spots for them east of the Pecos River:
