These two juvenile Greater White-fronted Geese (Anser albifrons) were photographed at Village Creek Drying Beds, Fort Worth, Texas on January 12, 1999 by Martin Reid; click here for pics of these birds on December 31, 1998. Note the long, dark-tipped all-orange bill (with peachy - not pink - tone near tip), the thick, longish neck, the overall darkness of the plumage, and the long legs. Note also the dark flank feathers (2nd gen,?), the greater coverts with fairly thin pale trailing edge, the partial white face "front", and the difference in white tipping to the tail between these individuals:
