These Pacific Golden-Plovers Pluvialis fulva were photographed by Laurie Knight on the central coast of eastern Australia (in and near Brisbane) on January 10, 2010:

All the flight feathers look fresh, and P10 is not quite fully grown on three of these four birds; it is hard to determine ages, but I do not think all these four birds are more than one year old (i.e. at least one of them is in its first-cycle):
