This Empidonax Flycatcher was photographed at Santa Ana NWR, Hidalgo County, Texas on May 16, 2008: The general feel of the bird is that of a Trail's type, and I think that the warm brown tone, buffy wing bars, and short primary projection all point to this being a Western Willow Flycatcher, which presumably is rare (or rarely documented) east of the Pecos River in Texas - ?:
