A western-type Solitary Vireo at Rose Hill Cemetery, Corpus Christi, TX on December 23, 2004:- but is it Plumbeous V. plumbeus or Cassin's V. cassinii - ?:

- I feel that the muted yet obvious greenish-yellow wash on the flanks, hint of green on the mantle/back and on the edges of the secondaries, plus the rather "sullied" tone to the throat and breast, all indicate that this is a dull Cassin's Vireo - but my experience with the western forms of this complex is limited and I'd appreciate getting feedback from those who have studied these forms - thank you.
