This Sagebrush Sparrow Amphispiza nevadensis was just west of Red Bluff Reservoir, Reeves county, Texas on December 13, 2010:



This individual was on Pinto Canyon Road southwest of Marfa, Presidio county, Texas on November 04, 2012. Per Pyle, P. Aug 2013 the malar streaks seem to be outside the maximum range for nevadensis, and within the range of the canescens ssp. of Bell's Sparrow A. belli:
