These two Fish Crows Corvus ossifragus were some of the six birds seen in southern Humble, Harris county, Texas on July 02, 2013. This colony has been present since 2005 when I saw the first one at this same private site near Atascocita and Wilson Roads. They can sometimes be found around the stores on Wilson Road just north of Beltway 8 and in the subdivisions on either side of the stores to the north, or from Ygnacio Road off of Atascocita Road east of Wilson Road. I have seen as many as 80 birds back in 2008, but recently only a handful. They are most often seen in the early morning or late afternoon/early evening:
