This male Blue Bunting Cyanocompsa parellina was found on the San Antonio River south of downtown San Antonio, Bexar County, Texas on February 24, 2021 (these photos from Feb 25). This is the northernmost record in Texas (a coastal record in Louisiana is slightly farther north), and the only U.S. record away from the southern Rio Grande or Gulf of Mexico coastal plain:
