The gallery forest at the Halff
Brothers Ranch is a magnet for wintering and migrant warblers:- Pine Warbler Dendroica palmarum:
- a scarce but regular winterer from the northeast.
Townsend's Warbler Dendroica townsendi:
- an unexpected winter visitor from the far west; its western
neighbor the Black-throated Gray Warbler is also a rare
winterer:
