Wintering western Empidonax flycatchers - very unusual in Texas in winter - photographed at the Halff Brothers Ranch in 2004/2005:
1): a Hammond's Flycatcher Empidonax hammondii:

2) a second Hammond's Flycatcher Empidonax hammondii at a location two miles south of the above bird:

3) a Cordilleran Flycatcher Empidonax occidentalis (identity confirmed by the two-note call) - one of two in the same winter mixed flock:
