These three rather different first-basic Thayer's Gulls (Larus thayeri) were photographed by Tony Leukering; at Puerto Peñasco, Sonora, Mexico in mid-January 1995 (in fact I feel the first bird may be a runt GWGUxWEGU hybrid - comments?):
