With these two LBBG-types, the upper bird has a darker-looking mantle
than the lower one - BUT look at the relative shade of the Laughing
Gulls in each image, and you can see that the lower bird is much
darker than the upper LBBG-type relative to the LAGUs (the "control" species): |
