I think that the above photo would help support this bird (lower left) being an adult Mew Gull among Ring-billed Gulls...



As we get closer, that bill is looking a bit odd.....



....a damaged bill: note that the the black band is perhaps too thick for Mew Gull, and the basal color is blue-gray - a similar tone is present in the tibia of the legs. Also note that the upperparts are extremely abraded compared to any of the nearby Ring-bills (just discernable in the photos - but quite apparent in life). Now take a look at the wings.....
