This Adult Definitive Lesser Black-backed
Gull (Larus fuscus) was photographed at Sea Rim
State Park, Texas on April 23, 1994 by Greg Lasley. Altough this
bird looks dark enough to be intermedius, the tail falls
part-way between 3rd and 4th visible primary tips, and those white
tips are large despite some evident wear(larger than the nearby
smithsonianus) - strongly pointing to graellsii:
