This adult-basic/alternate Siberian Gull (Larus heuglini) (with a barabensis behind-left) was photographed in Bahrain in early March 1999 by Martin Reid. The paleness of the mantle, more angular head, and narrower bill may indicate this is "Big Pale Heuglini":
