This adult-alternate(?) Siberian Gull (Larus heuglini) was photographed in Bahrain in early March 1999 by Martin Reid. The paleness of the mantle, more angular head, and narrower bill may indicate this is "Big Pale Heuglini"; note that it is in primary/secondary molt:
