This group of juv/first-basic and second-basic Herring Gulls (Larus argentatus argentatus/argenteus) (plus a young graellsii/intermedius top-right) were photographed at Oostende, Belgium in mid-August 1999 by Simonne De Maere; are these argentatus, argenteus, or intergrades from northwestern Europe?:
