This gull was at Elliot Landfill, Corpus Christi, Texas on February
08, 2005; I feel that it is a 2nd winter Atlantic
Yellow-legged Gull Larus michahellis atlantis,
but I'd appreciate feedback/other suggestions - thanks. Note that
every LBBG I've seen in Texas has a mantle that is obviously darker
than Laughing Gull; Howell in his color chart in BIRDING magazine
states atlantis is 7 - 8, Laughing Gull 8 - 9, graellsii
