This gull was photographed in late February in Fort Worth, Texas;
it looks most like a 2CY Thayer's Gull, but the almost-complete
2nd-generation mantle/scap tracts seem very advanced for THGU,
the greater coverts are quite "muddy", and the tail
seems to lack a barred base typical of THGU:
