This 2nd-cycle large gull was photographed at Brownsville Landfill, Cameron county, Texas on February 02, 2013; is it just a large, pale-mantled, densely-marked Lesser Black-backed Gull (Larus fuscus ssp?) or might it be a hybrid (backcross?) with American Herring Gull?:
