This first-cycle LBBG-type gull was photographed
on the Coastal Plain near Houston, Texas early March, 2008 - note that in some images the bill and legs are stained with yellowish-brown mud: note the shortish wings/long tail at rest, general bulk and structure, bill size and shape, state of wing-covert molt, broad shape of the wings, and paleness on the inner primaries:
