This gull was photographed at a landfill in Houston, Texas on December 28, 2005; it had underparts of the LBBG-type, and on structure it did not look like a European LBBG; the bill is very pale for LBBG in late December - might it be a taimyrensis? Soon after getting these pics the gulls all flushed, and I was unable to relocate this bird - but in hindsight it probably is this individual found later on the same day at the same site. :
