This juvenile Caspian Gull (Larus cachinnans ) is molting into first-basic, and was photographed by Christiane Pedersen in Moen, southeastern Denmark, October 1997; this bird was wearing a Moscow-Scheme ring, and was probably ringed in the Ukraine.
