These two 2nd alternate Steppe Gulls (Larus
(c.?) barabensis) were photographed in Oman in late
February 2000 by Arend Wassink.The first bird was near
Sohar in the north, while the second bird was with numerous "Big
Pale Heuglinis" at Sur, near the easternmost point
of Oman:
