 Adult Steppe Gull (Larus (c.?) barabensis). This individual is typical of darker barabensis:- there is only one small mirror, well-separated from the tip (on P10); black extends to P3; P7 has a gray inner-web tongue while P8 does not; the outer primary coverts are extensively streaked with black; the underside of P10 has only a tiny gray tongue basally on the inner web, and basal gray on P9 is also very limited (see image below); the bill has an indistinct dark subterminal smudge on both mandibles:
