maculata was photographed next to a drainage creek running 400 yards south of and parallel with
Atascocita Road in Humble, East Houston on May 16, 2006. This ditch is accessible from Ygnacio Road, which runs south a short distance from Atascocita road c. 1 mile east of Wilson Road; go east along the creek to the part where it is forested above both banks:
