This presumed Checkered White Pontia protodice was photographed in Bexar County, Texas on April 16 2005. To my eye it looks exactly like Western White P. occidentalis, including the full set of submarginal black marks, marginal marks that are less black/slightly paler than the black submarginal marks, and the extension of the black cell patch into the costal edge:
