This Grass Skipper sp. was at the Santa Ana NWR, Hidalgo County, Texas on May 01, 2004; it reminded me of a Delaware Skipper Anatrytone logan, but was a bit yellower (rather than more orangy) and had strongly visible pale veins; I recall there is at least one skipper in northern Mexico that looks a bit like this ( maybe A. mazai?), but I don't have any references. This is the only photo I obtained:
