Sheridan Coffey and I visited Puerto Rico from January 30 - February 04 2012. We mostly concentrated on seeing the birds, so not too many lep photos...:
On a tip we visited Coamo Springs Resort (c. 20 miles east of Ponce) to look for the rare Glutophrissa punctifera Antillean White - and got very lucky when Sheridan spotted one "salting" on a stony bar in the middle of a creek. Due to the depth of water I was not able to approach the bug, and had to settle for distant shots:
