From May 02 to 19, 2010, Sheridan Coffey and myself visited north and central Peru with Kolibri Expeditions; On May 09 and 10 we visited the ECOAN Reserve at Huembo and Pomacochas:
Marvelous Spatuletail - ENDEMIC - at least two adult males and two females; what can one say???
White-bellied Hummingbird - low numbers.
Green-tailed Trainbearer - one at the hotel.
Bronzy Inca - fairly common in low numbers.
Fawn-breasted Brilliant - one or two only.
Violet-fronted Brilliant - just one.
Purple-collared Woodstar - a few, mostly females.
Little Woodstar - up to three - all female-types - at the feeders.
White-bellied Woodstar - fairly common.
Emerald Toucanet - one of the blue-throated form that is grouped with the more-southerly black-throated forms.
Rufous-capped Antshrike - ENDEMIC SUBSPECIES - one at the hotel.
Mountain Wren - fairly common.
